The Whistle Stop Coop Preschool has served Puslinch Township and surrounding area for 20 years.
We are licensed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services for 16 children, ages 2 1/2 to 5 years.
Whistle Stop Cooperative Preschool combines the two most important ingredients of a successful first childhood experience: the expertise of Early Childhood Educators and the best expert on your child... YOU. At no other time in your child's education will you be able to be this involved. Whether you are attending a class function or attending a parents (board) meeting, the school is based on your input. We have a staff of qualified, experienced, caring teachers who are always available to discuss your child.
We offer a wide range of activities to stimulate your child's interests: stories, art, music, and creative play to name a few. It shows the in the children's enthusiasm. Acceptance of your expertise as your child's parent - this is a place where teachers listen to your thoughts concerning your child and work with you to meet your child's needs.
The Whistle Stop program strives to expose children to learning experiences that will develop their natural curiosity and love to learn. Secure with a sense of belonging to a world that is interesting to them and interested in them.

"Cooperative" or "Co-op" defines a group of people bonded together in a joint effort. A co-op preschool is a group of parents joining together to meet the best "Early" education goals of their young children.
A co-op differs from other schools in how it is managed. A Volunteer Parent Board of Directors meets monthly to establish policies and guidelines for the operation of the school. Parents, in a cooperative situation, have the power to change what they are not satisfied with.
Cooperative preschools are a great place for children's initial first school experience.
Co-ops are non-profit organizations owned, maintained, and administered by the parents who enrol their children.
Co-ops provide a developmentally appropriate program for children meeting their physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs.
