Parent Involvement

Within a cooperative environment there are some expected fulfillments each parent must make. Over the course year each family is responsible for one duty, these duties are outlined with the parent handbook (link to handbook). Along with this duty you are also expected to attend any mandatory meetings as scheduled by the volunteer board of directors, attend 3 toy clean per year and finally help organize and run our Annual Dance & Silent Auction fundraiser.

Whistle Stop does not require duty days.

Weather Cancellation Policy

The Whistle Stop Preschool will close on days of severe inclement weather. If Aberfoyle Public School is closed, Whistle Stop Preschool will also be closed .You can also check for bus cancellations and school closures on the Upper Grand District School Board web page or on the Magic 106.1 web page.
